From the United Church of Christ Minnesota Conference:
UPDATE: “Churches should continue to suspend all in-person activities, including worship, until at least mid-May, assuming an even longer suspension may be necessary.”
“Churches are urged to strongly consider suspending in-person worship and other scheduled events through the end of March. At that time, all of us can re-assess the situation based on guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and current realities.”
St. John’s UCC is heeding this advice for the safety and health of our congregation and will suspend Sunday school and worship services until mid-May. At this time, Sunday school and worship services will resume May 10 at the earliest.
Unfortunately, the annual Last Supper Drama scheduled for April 5 will also be canceled.
Be diligent of your own health during this time. Continue to wash your hands and limit your exposure to the general public.
