St. John’s UCC Mixed Choir
St. John’s UCC Choir wrapped up their season on February 23. Thank you for sharing your time and talent! The Mixed Choir will resume rehearsals and providing special music during Sunday worship services in September.
We will continue to meet monthly after worship at St. John’s UCC from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. As always, anyone is welcome to join us. Typically, 7th & 8th graders participate, but we accommodate in grace. We grow by continuing discussion of our faith journey and what is essential as we attempt to understand God’s great love for all and how we struggle to live in the way Jesus models. Confirmation Sunday will be May 10, 2020.

Second Saturday Quilters
Next meeting: March 7, 2020 for a Quilt Shop Hop
The Second Saturday Quilters will be traveling to various shops on March 7. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Deb Wille.
Second Saturday Quilters is open to people from all churches and their friends. This fun bunch of quilters meets the second Saturday of each month except during the summer. Please bring your own sewing machine and general sewing supplies. Contact Deb Wille at 507-323-4813 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or if you have questions.
We will not be holding a quilting day at St. John’s UCC this spring. If you are interested in helping plan a 2021 quilting event, please contact Pauline Wiegrefe. Let’s give a big thank you to Kim Keller and Deb Wille for being part of the committee for this event. Many people have benefited from this act of love within our community.
Next meeting: Tuesday, March 10th at 2 pm in Kenyon at the Kenyon Bar & Grill
We will share in coffee and conversation (less than an hour) concluding in prayer. This is a great time to share in a small, informal setting and just get to know one another better. Please come to get to know your neighbors. All are welcome to attend.
Please offer suggestions of locations that are easily accessible, easy to find and open to the community. It is great to connect with one another. Plan at least a half hour, no longer than an hour. If you’re not able to come, please spend that dedicated time in prayer. It is making a difference. Also, remember P-P-P, People Pray and Praise. Let us continue praying for this season of new starts, and the communities and people we serve. Pray for God to bring people to engage with and invite to various activities that you enjoy. We are witnessing in our local communities to God’s extravagant love by our prayers and our presence. Thank you for your generosity!
Non-perishable food items are always welcome and may be brought to the church at any time. Your help delivering those items to our local food shelves is greatly appreciated. This is one of the many ways we share in mission!
