Upcoming Events:
Big Woods Race 2020: Cancelled

The Big Woods Race has been cancelled for this year due to the concerns with Covid-19. The safety of our many volunteers and runners was the top priority in this decision. We are thankful for all our wonderful community members who made this event a success in the past. It is our hope we will once again be together in 2021.

Quilting Day

We will not be holding a quilting day at St. John’s UCC this spring. If you are interested in helping plan a 2021 quilting event, please contact Pauline Wiegrefe. Let’s give a big thank you to Kim Keller and Deb Wille for being part of the committee for this event. Many people have benefited from this act of love within our community.

People-Pray-Praise (P-P-P)

October 13 @ 2 PM via Zoom
Contact Pastor Lora if you would like to attend.

We will share in coffee and conversation (less than an hour) concluding in prayer. This is a great time to share in a small, informal setting and just get to know one another better. Please come to get to know your neighbors. All are welcome to attend.

Please offer suggestions of locations that are easily accessible, easy to find and open to the community. It is great to connect with one another. Plan at least a half hour, no longer than an hour. If you’re not able to come, please spend that dedicated time in prayer. It is making a difference. Also, remember P-P-P, People Pray and Praise. Let us continue praying for this season of new starts, and the communities and people we serve. Pray for God to bring people to engage with and invite to various activities that you enjoy. We are witnessing in our local communities to God’s extravagant love by our prayers and our presence. Thank you for your generosity!

National Eagle Center Program

Mark your calendars! The National Eagle Center Program has been rescheduled from July 2020 to July 21, 2021 at 7 PM at St. John’s United Church of Christ. All are welcome to attend.

Food Shelf

Non-perishable food items are always welcome and may be brought to the church at any time. Your help delivering those items to our local food shelves is greatly appreciated. This is one of the many ways we share in mission!
